Stop Smoking with Hypnosis - Eliminate your desire to smoke

The Approach

Hypnosis eliminates your desire to smoke. Through hypnosis it’s possible to break your association of smoking with daily events such as:

  • Waking up
  • Morning coffee
  • After meals
  • Watching TV
  • Talking on the telephone
  • Driving
  • Socializing

Also through hypnosis, the underlying cause of smoking, usually stress or uncomfortable feelings, can be neutralized. With the underlying cause removed, the need or desire to smoke just goes away.


Should you taper off or stop “cold turkey”? The ultimate decision is yours. If you have already tapered off and are smoking two packs or less a day, then you are a good candidate to stop smoking in one 2-hour session. If you’re smoking more than 2 packs a day, consider tapering off over three weekly sessions.

Individual sessions have the advantage of dealing with your specific reasons and times for smoking.  While almost every smoker wants to stop for better health, it means different things to different people. I take the time to find out your reasons and use them to your advantage.

You’ll learn stress management techniques that can be used almost anywhere, anytime.

Hypnosis Explained

Hypnosis is a relaxed, normal and natural state that you pass through daily, as you go to sleep and again as you wake up. Your body is very relaxed while your mind is very alert and open to suggestion. Daydreaming, driving a car on “autopilot” and missing a turn or an exit, or being deeply engrossed in a book or movie are examples of being in hypnosis.

Hypnosis is very safe and very effective. You are in control and I cannot force you to do anything against your value system. This is why it’s important that you want to be hypnotized and you want the positive suggestions. Furthermore, it’s impossible to get stuck in hypnosis. If left alone, you will either wake up or fall asleep.
